Life is great by the beach - Go Goa for New Year !

1300 kms of travel, 7 families, 2 months of planning, innumerable myntra, h&m, ajio orders & returns, 5 meetings to decide the location of Goa- for the new year to set it as the 'lifetime event', and on the night of new year, we were shocked to see marriage reception like party where an old man hosting retero soothing songs and childish games, and the audience are casually sitting in the chairs like they have come to witness a school event.

However, our group didn't step back, instead of waiting for someone else to create a rocking environment, we put on the dancing shoes to set the floor to fire.

That's the way our new year end.

Day 1 (28 -Wed): Journey of 650 kms from Bengaluru to Panjim, which has a steady degradation of roads from 3-way lane -> 2-way lane -> then to 1-way lane -> halfway and then ghats before reaching our resort. Best part of the journey was the drive through the thick jungle the road was covered with a canopy of trees shade, which can be enjoyed better by peeping out of the sunroof of the car.

Day 2 (29 - Thurs): Dona Paula beach for the sunrise (View point is little ahead), Fontainhas Portuguese Heritage Buildings (now Restaurants), Titos Lane Market, Baga Beach, DJ at shacks

Day 3 (30 - Fri): Anjuna Beach, Anjuna Flea Market, Got the feel of Sunburn Festival (Could have covered: Casino at Big Daddy/Majestic Pride)

Day 4 (31 - Sat): Bambolim Beach, Panjim Flea Market, Cruise on Mandovi river, New Year Gala night (Could have covered: Immaculate Church)

Day 5 (1 - Sun): Return to Bangalore

At the end of the trip, my son has asked a good question. "Nanna now the group name should be changed to 'Went' Goa instead of Go Goa right?"
